Basement Waterproofing: Battery Backup Systems
Basement Waterproofing: Watergrabber System and Backups
Basement Technologies of WNY Inc. in Rochester, NY is proud to introduce our revolutionary new and exclusive Water Grabber® Sump Basin! Our unique patent-pending sump pump system represents an innovative alternative to the basement waterproofing industry. Basement Technologies’ research and development department continues to “think outside the box” or in this case “inside the box,” and as a result…the new Water Grabber® Sump Liner!
Most of you are familiar with the old circular design that other basement waterproofing companies seem to be content to continue using. Once again, we have proven that to be a leader in the basement waterproofing business, one must continually improve old products and introduce more efficient new basement waterproofing products.
An accepted reality in basement waterproofing is that all reliable basement waterproofing systems are based on a pumping unit. Pumping units are run on electricity and are a mechanical device prone to possible failure. Basement Technologies of WNY Inc. recommends Battery Backup Units and secondary pumps on all pump locations. We offer only the best Battery Backup Units on the market. Storms, power outages and unforeseen mechanical failures are all unforeseen realities which is why we recommend this to our customers.
Basement Technologies of WNY Inc. also offers a commercial version of the Battery Backup Unit which runs off of a power converter to operate a second 1/3 or ½ h.p. sump pump in the event of a power outage. This configuration will discharge a larger volume of water for those customers with heavy flow in their basement.
- Battery powered sump pump runs automatically during a power outage.
- Provides a backup to your standard sump pump if it breaks down.
- Automatic start-up
- Indicator lights on charger
- Alarm sounds when pumping and battery won’t charge.
Battery operated backup sump pumps are designed to backup primary residential sump pumps in case of pump or power failure. A must for those installations where an inoperative sump pump cannot be tolerated. A separate float switch and built-in alarm automatically starts the backup system and activates a warning buzzer to protect against high water damage and warn of primary pump failure. The backup pump will also operate if the main pump cannot keep up with the water inflow helping to keep all of your valuables safe and dry.
These battery powered sump pump features are ideal in the instances where a sump pump system cannot afford a second of improper functioning.
